The UK Spa Association has organised National Spa Awareness Week (NSAW) from 3-7 November 2014 to increase awareness of the mental and physical benefits regular spa treatments can bring.
In its monthly newsletter, the
UK Spa Association said hundreds of UK spas and salons will be taking part in the week where they ‘meet and treat’ their clients.
The association hopes the range of events during the week, including promotions, competitions, offers and fundraising activities – supported by MacMillan Cancer Trust – as well as treatments and packages will show spas how they can help promote the positive effects of spa therapies via relaxation and hands-on therapy.
According to
the association, NSAW is the largest promotional opportunity for spas in the UK.
Held in association with the MacMillan Cancer trust and its widespread network of patients, supporters and clients, every participating spa or salon will have access to a Tool Kit – provided by the association – with valuable information about NSAW in addition to templates for PR, marketing, event planning, corporate outreach and branded materials to help communicate the core campaign messages.
Both members and non-members of the UK Spa Association can take part in this year’s campaign. Participation is free for association members, with a charge of £250 for non-members.
