Hydrafacial branches out into body care with six all-new Hydrabody treatments
By Megan Whitby 10 Jan 2023

Advanced aesthetic tech company Hydrafacial is now offering treatments beyond the jawline having launched six new body protocols.

Providers can now offer Hydrabody treatments covering necks, backs, buttocks, legs, hands and arms, with new protocols following Hydrafacial’s signature three-step treatment of cleanse, extract and hydrate.

Hydrafacial UK country manager Lauren Gibson commented: "Following demand from our partners, we’re delighted to launch the much-anticipated Hydrabody protocols to the aesthetic market.

“As a brand, we’ve always aligned ourselves with a 360 approach to health and wellbeing, and the six new body protocols help Hydrafacial fans to benefit from skin health and confidence head-to-toe".

Providers can conduct the body treatments using their existing Hydrafacial equipment and its vortex technology.

Aesthetic clinics, spas and beauty studios can use a range of specific tips, serums, and boosters to tackle specific body skin concerns. Optional add-ons of LED light therapy and lymphatic drainage can also be incorporated to upgrade the experience.

The new treatments
Hands – £40 (US$49, €45)
Designed to revive dry, cracked and ageing hands. Exfoliates to reveal fresh, youthful skin that feels soft and hydrated.

Neck and Déc – £99 (US$120, €112)
Targets signs of tech-neck, ageing and pigmentation on the neck and décolletage area, claimed to leave the skin bright, hydrated and radiant.

Arms – £130 (US$158, €147)
Used to help improve rough, dry patches and help treat keratosis pilaris on the arms by gently cleansing and exfoliating for a clear, glowing appearance.

Booty – £130 (US$158, €147)
Devised to brighten and smooth to improve texture, fight dullness and prevent future ‘butne’ breakouts using a trio of exfoliating acids: glycolic, salicylic and lactic.

Back – £160 (US$195, €181)
Targets 'bacne' with a deep cleanse and detox. Using exfoliation and extraction to clear out clogged pores and boost nutrients for a brighter, healthier back.

Legs – £160 (US$195, €181)
Exfoliates and hydrates dehydrated legs for the summer months to improve the appearance of skin texture and help prevent ingrown hairs.

About Hydrafacial
HydraFacial treatments are underpinned by a patented Vortex-Fusion delivery system to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate skin in three steps.

The non-invasive technology is claimed to remove dead skin cells and extract impurities, while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturising serums. Suitable for all skin types, ages and concerns, the treatment has been created to deliver long-term skin health to the face, body and scalp.

Hydrafacial treatments are available in over 90 countries. The company's technology is deployed in more than 19,000 medi-spas, aesthetic clinics and beauty studios globally, and is now available in more1,200 clinics in the UK and Ireland.
