Aveda has drawn on its ayurvedic heritage with the launch of Chakra™ Balancing Body Mists and a professional Chakra™ Balancing Massage.

Both are based on the practice of ayurveda, a traditional system of healthy living principles and therapeutic practices, designed to promote physical, mental, social and spiritual harmony.

Originating in India over 5,000 years ago, the philosophy of ayurveda recognises seven main chakras or energy centres in the body.
