The new Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Moscow, Russia, will open in 2012.
An internal nine-storey atrium, designed in the style of a Fabergé egg, is at the heart of the designs for the property, which have been unveiled by architects HOK.
The 217-bedroom property, which will be situated on the city's Tverskaya Street will be located in a renovated 19th century manor house. It features an'upside-down' design that will invite visitors to check-in at sky lobby level overlooking Red Square.
Facilities will include a health spa and wellness centre offering a holistic range of treatments including Mandarin Oriental's Time Ritual and Signature Spa Therapies.
The spa will include private treatment rooms as well as water and health therapies, while other facilities will include an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre.
Signature spa treatments will combine elements from Traditional Chinese Medicine with aromatherapy, while all the therapies will be fundamentally holistic in focus. Details: mandarinoriental.com
