A new fish therapy concept spa called Aqua Sheko has opened in Kensington, London, UK.
Reportedly the first of its kind to open in the capital, the spa uses the omnivorous garra rufa fish to gently remove dead skin and boasts eight pools, each with a constant oxygen supply.
Fish pedicures are popular in Asia, and have also recently introduced under the Doctor Fish(tm) brand in South Africa at the Lanzerac Spa in the Stellenbosch region.
The garra rufa is a form of carp that are found naturally in hot springs near Kangal in Turkey. Details: www.aquasheko.co.uk
