Harlequin Hotels and Resorts is to launch the Buccament Bay Beach Resort in July 2010 on the south-west coast of the Caribbean island of St Vincent.
Located on the south west coast of the island, the resort will offer accommodation in 369 air-conditioned suites, designed by architects TVS, ranging from Junior Suites (63.9 sq m in size) to the opulent Waters Edge Penthouse Suites (358sq m).
The resort's Sanctuary Spa is the first in a planned series of Sanctuary-branded spas. It will offer a range of restorative treatments including hydrotherapy, Shiatsu, aromatherapy, holistic body and Thai massages. Wellness facilities will include steamrooms, water therapy pools and an aroma sauna.
Yoga, pilates, reiki and meditation will also be offered, reflecting the spa's strong holistic focus.
There will also be 24-berth marina for cruising yachts, including mega-yacht berths that can accommodate yachts up to 250ft, and offshore anchoring mooring buoys for larger yachts.
