Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain in Ontario, Canada, has expanded its Scandinavian baths experience with a new infrared sauna, indoor relaxation room and outdoor deck area overlooking a natural pond.

A popular health and wellness destination for both tourists and local people, Scandinave Spa "believes in providing guests with a tranquil escape in the heart of a natural outdoor environment."

Silence is at the heart of the experience for complete relaxation, wellness and rejuvenation; for this reason, guests are asked to use a spa voice.

The new 1500sq ft (139sq m) sauna and relaxation room complement the existing space which includes hot baths, Finnish sauna, eucalyptus steam bath, thermal and Nordic waterfalls, cold plunge pools, Scandinavian baths and hydrotherapy, outdoor fireplaces, and indoor and outdoor relaxation areas.

Also on offer are registered massage treatments including Swedish, hot stone, sports and pregnancy; getaway packages and an on-site bistro serving local, healthy food.

Situated in a 25 acre natural forest with views of the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve Niagrara Escarpment and moments from downtown Collingwood and Blue Mountain Resort, Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain is one of the largest spas in Canada and the only outdoor nature spa in Ontario.

Sustainable practices have been put in place to minimise environmental impact, while water is managed through a distinct filtering system and tested three times daily to ensure quality and premier water chemistry.
