A new spa will launch at La Résidence d'Angkor hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia, this month.
The Kong Kea Spa, meaning 'water for the god', is located in a brand new wing of the boutique city resort, in the quietest area of the property. The 5,113sq ft (475sq m) spa has six treatment rooms on the ground floor and eight new spa suites on the first floor.
The spa design focuses on different water elements throughout, from bridges at the spa's main entrance to oversized aquariums in the reception area and illuminated water walls in each of the treatment rooms.
Signature therapies are based on a range of cleansing, heating, treating and resting experiences and the products used will include a range of locally-sourced organic ingredients.
Part of the Orient-Express Hotels group, La Residence d'Angkor is a luxury hotel located near Angkor Wat. It is set within a leafy walled garden and can be accessed by a bridge over a lotus pond. Details: orient-express.com
