A US$500m (£253.1m, 337.2m euro) residential concept specifically designed to improve the health of residents has launched in the US.
Branded Cooper Life, the new community is the brainchild of Dr Kenneth Cooper, the doctor who coined the term aerobics in 1968.
It has been developed in partnership with Wellstone Communities and is located at Craig Ranch, Texas - home to Cooper's (75,000sq ft) 7,000sq m Cooper Aerobics Center.
There is also a 12,000sq ft (1,114sq m) Cooper Spa on site, with 12 treatment rooms as well as areas for manicures and facials.
Gym membership, health screening and nutritional guides come as standard for members of the masterplanned community.
The Texan property is the first in a proposed series of Cooper Life properties in the US, with current sites under consideration for the second Cooper Life in Florida, California.
