Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has teamed up with spa management and brand delivery firm Spatality to introduce the Nectar Spa brand at Sheraton properties.
Beginning in 2009, the introduction of Nectar Spa is part of Sheraton’s ongoing US$4bn (£2.8bn, 3.1bn euro) investment in brand enhancement, which also includes upgrading 1,000 properties in the US alone, amounting to nearly half of its north American portfolio.
The Nectar concept has been customised exclusively for Sheraton and will offer guests an ‘upscale, approachable spa experience’. There will be a complete programme of treatments as well as a range of customised options developed specifically for the Sheraton brand.
Senior vice president for Sheraton, Hoyt H Harper said: “Nectar will be an invaluable, welcome addition to the Sheraton guest experience. With this global agreement, we plan to make spa a cornerstone of the Sheraton brand experience.”
CEO of Spatality Holdings and Nectar LLC, Richard Dusseau, added: “When we created Nectar, we certainly had the upscale hospitality segment in mind, but it was pure serendipity that our brand proposition dovetails so well with Sheraton.” Details: spatality.com
