Hilton Hotels and Resorts has opened its first hotel in the northwest of the country.

The 311-room Hilton Xi'an is located in the heart of midtown Xi'an and close to the historic Ming City Wall.

Designed as a flagship hotel, facilities include a luxury spa managed by I SPA.

The 1,000sq m (11,000sq ft) spa boasts nine private treatment rooms as well as a foot massage parlour.

Focusing on holistic treatments, other facilities an open-air courtyard, located on the third floor. Spanning across more than 2,000 sq m, the relaxation area features a large, lush landscaped garden with vibrant native plants and a tumbling water feature.
