Hilton International is to launch its first first Worldwide Resort in China later this year when it opens its newest site at Yalong Bay, located on the southernmost tip of Hainan Island in China.
Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa will be part of the hotel group’s steadily growing portfolio of seven hotels in China.
The 500-room hotel will include a luxury day spa, offering guests traditional Asian treatments mixed with European massages and therapies.
Although details of the spa and its facilities are still to be confirmed, it is believed it that the Sanya spa will be similar to the 3,000sq m (32,291sq ft) spa at Hilton Shanghai.
All of Hilton’s existing properties in China include a deluxe spa, including the 2,300sq m (24,700sq ft) Cloud 9 spa at the Hilton Chongqing.
General manager, Dirk De Cuyper, says: “Sanya has everythign the classic holidaymaker wants from a relaxing spa brake – Postcard-perfect views, white sand, blue sea, magnificent mountain backdrops and a year-round tropical climate.”
