A unique SAR1.8m (0.18m euro, £01.2m, US$0.24m) wellness centre called the Camelot Spa at Triba Wellness is to launch in Craighall Park, Johannesburg, South Africa, in late July.
The centre is intended to be a one-stop, member-based day spa where new and expectant mothers can claim their own personal time while their children are cared for.
Therapists at the new spa will be specially trained to deal with pregnancy and the after-effects it can have on a woman’s body while there will be 10 different types of signature massage on offer, many focusing on how women can look after the skin both before and after pregnancy.
The facility will be owned and managed by Tracy Keating, who is a franchisee of Camelot Spa, which is owned by Debbie Merdjan.
Covering 1,076sq ft (100sq m), the spa will have four treatment rooms, one of which is a dual room, a hydrobath, and a sleep room, where mothers can catch up on their sleep.
