The Rezidor Hotel Group has agreed a management deal that will see it operate the 1835 White Palm Hotel in Cannes, France.
The 134-bedroom spa hotel will be re-branded Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel & Thalasso in December (2010) and joins the Radisson Blu portfolio of hotels.
As part of the rebrand, the hotel's large thalasso spa - Les Thermes Marins de Cannes - will be marketed as one the finest spas in the region.
The 2,700sq m facility houses 46 treatment rooms, a fitness centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hammam, sauna, caldarium and spa pools.
Kurt Ritter, Rezidor's President & CEO, said: "This property will strengthen our presence along the Côte d'Azur."
The hotel is owned by Nathalie Esclapez, who recently received the French "Médaille d'Argent du Tourisme" (silver medal of tourism).
Located in the city's old quarter of Le Suquet, the hotel also boasts three signature restaurants. Le 360 is situated on a roof terrace and offers 360 degree views of Cannes; Le Bio is located within the spa and specializes in healthy dishes; and 30° Celsius serves light meals on the ground floor.
The property brings the number of hotels in operation and under development by Rezidor in France to 28.
