The Asian-based hospitality group YTL Hotels is to open a number of new properties - three with spas - over the next two years.
First to launch, in June 2010, will be The MUSE in St Tropez, France. The retreat will boast 14 suites, all with gardens, and will feature an eco-spa while all amenities have been created for the hotel in Grasse.
Next to open will be the Swatch Art Peace Hotel, in August 2010, in Shanghai, China.
In 2011, two resorts will open in Borneo - the Pulau Gaya - with views of Mount Kinabalu and including a Spa Village - as well as the intimate hideaway Pulau Tiga, located 48km south of Kota Kinabalu and boasting a dedicated spa treatment area.
As with all YTL developments, each spa concept in St Tropez and Borneo will be designed to embrace the location's indigenous philosophy and culture.
YTL Hotels deals with the group's portfolio of resorts, hotels and spas and is the hospitality division of the Malaysian conglomerate YTL Corporation Berhad, one of the largest companies listed on Bursa Malaysia. Details: ytlhotels.com
