The SPA and HAIR 1877 facility, which is housed in the restored 19th Century Turkish Baths in Sheffield, UK, is to present a series of seminars on women’s health from this month.
Organised in partnership with the city’s Thornbury Hospital, the sessions will cover a range of topics and are designed to provide people in the region with the opportunity to meet and chat with health specialists in a relaxed and informal environment.
Topics covered at the Yorkshire spa will include an introduction to 3D and 4D scanning for expectant mothers, gynaecological health, cosmetic surgery, dealing with cancer, breast care and remedies for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Each seminar will run for two hours. Spa facilities will also be available, including seven treatment rooms, heat experiences, a plunge pool, an ice cave and showers.
The partnership with the hospital is the result of the spa’s new Club 1977 scheme – a three-tiered membership initiative for individuals, charitable organisations and corporate clients.
