International spa service provider Steiner Leisure Limited (SLL) has posted a US$1.2m (£805,908, 890,987 euro) increase in revenue to US$124.9m (£83.9m, 92.7m euro) for the fourth quarter of 2009, when compared with the same period for the previous year.
However, Steiner also reported 9.3 per cent decrease in revenue for the 12 months ending 31 December 2009, despite a 1 per cent increase in Q4 revenue. The company also saw its annual revenue drop to US$490.6m (£329.2m, 363.9m euro), when compared with US$540.9m (£363m, 401.3m euro) in 2008.
Steiner’s brands include Bliss World Holdings, Inc (Bliss), Elemis and La Thérapie, while the company operates the Bliss Spa and Mandara Spa portfolios.
In related news, Michael Indursky has become President of Steiner’s recently acquired Bliss, effective from 8 March 2010. Indursky will be responsible for the worldwide operations of both the Bliss and Remède brands.
