A new day spa called TRIA has opened as part of an integrative wellness centre in Bangkapi, Bangkok in Thailand.
Focusing on holistic healthcare, the US$15.4m (9.67m euro, £7.68m) facility is owned by the private Piyavate Hospital and covers a total space of 139,930sq ft (13,000sq m).
Nalin Vanasin, president of TRIA, said: “We cater not only to clients who want a traditional luxury spa experience but also to clients who care about health and want a functional approach.”
There are 40 treatment rooms in the spa alone, with a further 20 medical consultation rooms in the wellness centre as well as a 20m outdoor pool, a gym and comprehensive water suites with four hydrotherapy pools, an infra red sauna, ice fountain and Swiss showers.
More than 200 treatments and consultation options are offered as well as a range of tailored programmes for detoxification.
