Consultancy WTS International has released further information about a US$10m (7.8m euro, £6.6m) spa which will open in September 2010 at the Woodstock Inn & Resort in Vermont, US.
Designed by Asfour Guzy Architects, the 10,000sq ft (929sq m) facility will have 10 treatment rooms and indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces.
Offering organic products from Eminence, Naturopathica and Spa Ritual, signature treatments will utilise indigenous ingredients to coincide with Vermont's four seasons. The Winter's Deep Forest Massage will have spruce and cedar oils; in spring, a Vanilla Maple Sugar Body Polish will celebrate Vermont's sugar season; the summer will bring a Summer Berry Bliss sugar scrub and massage and autumn will have a Pumpkin Body Masque.
Other amenities include a VIP Restoration Suite complete with a private bathroom and oversized shower and private outdoor courtyard with a sauna, a fire pit and a hot soaking pool.
Michelle Adams was appointed spa director of the new facility in June 2010. She will be tasked with the day-to-day operations of the spa.
