Six Senses Resorts and Spas has taken over the operation of Vatulele Island Resort, which is situated on the Fijian island of the same name.
First opened in 1990, the boutique resort comprises 17 beach villas and two further premier accommodation units with private pools and dedicated staff.
Six Senses chair, Sonu Shivdasani, said: “We do not intend to make any immediate changes to Vatulele but, in the longer term, we will develop some aspects of the resort, including the addition of a spa.”
Situated a 25-minute air trip away from Nadi International Airport, six hours south-west of Hawaii, Vatulele Island Resort is owned by Vatulele Joint Venture Trustee, which is based in Fiji.
