Von Essen Hotels – which operates 17 privately-owned luxury and country house hotels across the UK – is set to launch a new £2.5m (3.6m euro, US$4.4m) spa in October at New Park Manor Hotel in the New Forest in Hampshire, England.
The flagship Bath House Spa – which is the first of a series of spa developments yet to be announced by von Essen – will feature a 16m indoor pool, a hot tub, six treatment rooms, a thermal mud room and a rooftop relaxation terrace.
Treatments will use von Essen’s own brand of organic products – Numbers – and range from mud and moss wraps to mud baths.
The Bath House Spa will be targeted towards hotel guests, although there will be day packages on offer and limited external memberships available.
Other leisure facilities on offer at the 24-room hotel include an outdoor heated pool, an equestrian centre, an all-weather tennis court, quad biking and archery. Details: www.vonessenhotels.com
