Aromatherapy Associates has created a steam-activated essential oil blend called Support Breathe Shower Mist to provide an at-home spa experience.
The new formula is part of the company’s Support Breathe collection – a blend crafted with a refreshing and purifying aroma. Other products in the range include a bath and shower oil and a pure essential oil blend.
The vegan and cruelty-free shower mist uses 100 per cent natural essential oils of eucalyptus, lavender and peppermint. The company says these ingredients create a cooling and uplifting sensation and can aid with congestion.
The brand says 2-3 pumps of the mist can be sprayed into hot running water, before inhaling deeply as part of a daily ritual that restores inner calm.
Luke Taylor, master blender, Aromatherapy Associates, told Spa Business: "The new shower mist represents one of aromatherapy's most understated yet transformative applications, its impact felt most powerfully throughout the winter months."
He added: "The Support Breathe Shower Mist was specifically crafted to deliver an instant therapeutic reset when it's needed most. At its heart, eucalyptus helps to soothe, calm and clear the senses, fostering a deeper sense of wellbeing with clearer breathing.
“We've expertly balanced this with comforting lavender and a cooling lift of peppermint to rebalance the mind and restore clarity, ensuring a simple shower transforms into a sanctuary for breath, body and mind,” Taylor concluded.
The 100ml Support Breathe Shower Mist retails for £38 (US$48, €44).
The 10ml travel size version of the mist retails for £29 (US$37, €34).
