Earthlite and its sister company Living Earth Crafts (LEC) have created the Alhambra treatment table, which has been designed for versatility.
The new treatment bed has been developed with various patented features, including a chest comfort system, a self-adjusting headrest, plus seven vibration-dampened motors that can be controlled wirelessly.
The 5-layer 14cm mattress system is also fitted with technology currently undergoing patent approval, called EarthConnect, which offers grounding and EMF protection. It is said to balance the client and spa professional’s natural bioelectric charges to promote a sense of grounding and relaxation.
Jim Chenevey, chair of Earthlite’s board and chief innovation officer, said: “We’re very excited about the feature-packed Alhambra table, which also integrates electronic drop arms with comfort channels for petite clients. We believe this will compete favourably with any treatment bed currently on the market.”
The treatment bed’s design is inspired by the beauty of Al-Andalus, the 13th-century palace and fortress complex in Granada, Spain.
MENA region expansion
The companies are expanding in the MENA region.
Earthlite has recently expanded its footprint in the Netherlands and has begun manufacturing its Ellora LX and Everest LX treatment tables at its facility in Rotterdam.
Earthlite is also acquiring European-based wellness equipment companies. Rod Derifield, CEO of Earthlite, said: “Europe and the Middle East represent a large, relatively untapped market for our wellness technologies and design expertise and we intend to greatly expand our presence in the EMEA territory.”
Thorsten Lipfert, will drive growth in the Middle East from LEC and Earthlite’s base in Dubai.
