Germaine de Capuccini has launched a facial protocol called Expert Lab Tec-Exosome, which will join the brand’s Expert Lab range.
The protocol involves two in-clinic treatments and an at-home regimen using an intensive treatment and one facial cream. The combination of therapies is described by the brand as a bioregenerative facial routine designed to deliver intensive skin repair and hydration for lasting results.
The two in-clinic treatments use separate vials that feature plant exosome technology patented by the brand, called Tecxosome. The formulae include tulsi extract, enoxolone and acetyl-tetrapeptide-2. These ingredients are said to help restore cellular communication, stimulate skincare repair mechanisms and accelerate visible renewal.
The two vials used in the in-clinic appointments include the Tec-Exosome PDRN Complex, which is enriched with PDRN (polynucleotides) and is said to improve skin texture, firmness and the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
The second vial is the Tec-Exosome HA Complex, which is a hydrating facial solution used to restore moisture to the skin – improving elasticity and comfort.
The homecare routine includes the brand’s Tec-Exosome PDRN+HA Intensive Hydro-Regenerating 7-day treatment, which retails for £50 (US$64, €59); and the Intelligent Hydro-Regenerating Cream, which retails for £105 (US$134, €123).
Anke Menkhorst, CEO of Germaine de Capuccini, told Spa Business: “Our latest advancement, the Tec-Exosome System, based on the Tecxosome patent, is at the forefront of cellular longevity. Using plant biomimetic exosomes and highly clinically effective actives such as PDRN and hyaluronic acid, it reactivates cell communication and stimulates regeneration from within. It’s not about masking signs but restoring the communication that fades over time so the skin can learn to repair and improve itself.
“In our formulations, we use exosomes with controlled origins and rigorous characterisation, integrated into intelligent encapsulation technologies that improve bioavailability and tolerance,” added Menkhorst. “The result is enhanced efficacy with lower concentrations and visible improvements in skin texture, luminosity, deep hydration and post-treatment recovery – all while meeting the strictest safety and quality standards (in vitro, ex vivo and user tests).
“Exosome therapy represents the next evolution in regenerative skincare, which is why Germaine de Capuccini invested years in developing one of the most advanced and highly concentrated formulations on the market,” she said. “Bringing the Tec-Exosome System to our spa partners was a natural next step, enabling them to offer a truly differentiated treatment for the growing number of clients seeking long-term, science-led results.”
