The Washington Spa Alliance will host its 6th annual Symposium on Tuesday, 22 March,
from 9am to 7pm at the National Press Club. The day-long interactive event will include local, regional, national and international leaders in the spa industry.
This year’s theme is “The New Language of Spa.”
“Spa is – and always has been – a very specific path toward healing and rejuvenation,” said Mary Bemis, WSPA board member and Symposium chair.
“For a time it got lost in the sort of feel-good of wellness. But spa is back, and it’s both real and specific.”
The 6th annual Symposium will be devoted to exploring the “cutting-edge” of both ancient and new practices, said Bemis.
The gathering of spa leaders aims to continue a national conversation designed to inspire the spa community to advance a human agenda of health and wellbeing, organisers said.
