Alila Marea Beach Resort introduces Lumati Recharge Portal for stackable longevity treatments

The Lumati Recharge Portal combines red light therapy, supplementation, molecular hydrogen inhalation and other modalities

Elements of the Lumati Recharge Portal are also being made available to resort guests for in-room rejuvenation experiences

Alila Marea Beach Resort in Encinitas, US, has partnered with regenerative and longevity technology company Lumati to provide short stackable longevity treatments.

Part of Hyatt’s Alila portfolio, the resort’s Spa Alila has introduced the Lumati Recharge Portal to the spa in one of its five treatment rooms.

A spokesperson for Lumati told Spa Business the technology occupies approximately 5sq ft and costs US$60,000 (€55,200, £47,400) to purchase.

The technology, which launched at the A4M LongevityFest convention in Las Vegas at the end of 2024, is said to provide “measurable rejuvenation.” It does this via multi-modal integrations such as red light therapy, molecular hydrogen inhalation, micro-impact vibration and sound therapy.

Users of the portal will be offered supplement drops designed by Lumati, called Lumati Red Nano Curcumin Supplement. They contain curcumin, which is extracted from turmeric root and is said to support joint health and reduce pain and inflammation.

The sound therapy is delivered via wireless headphones, with a built-in function for bilateral vagus nerve stimulation.

Overall, the Recharge Portal is said to boost cellular energy, reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, enhance circulation, accelerate recovery and restore balance within the nervous system.

Emma Spencer, spa director at Spa Alila, said: “Alila Marea has always been a haven where modern luxury meets the healing power of nature. By partnering with Lumati, we’re elevating our wellness offerings to new heights – delivering state-of-the-art, science-backed recovery that aligns perfectly with our commitment to mindful presence, vitality and profound relaxation.”

A 20-minute session at Spa Alila costs US$95 (€87, £75), including a 22 per cent service charge.

The spa already offers another longevity technology experience in its Revival Lounge. This includes access to technology by Therabody, including a zero gravity chair, compression boots, smart goggles for an eye and temple massage and TheraMind sound therapy. Twenty minutes in this lounge costs US$75 (€69, £59), including the 22 per cent service charge.

In-room experience

Elements of the Lumati Recharge Portal are also being made available to resort guests for in-room rejuvenation experiences.

Guests will receive Lumati’s molecular hydrogen water bottles, light masks and the supplement drops in their rooms.

David Perez, founder and CEO of Lumati, said: “The Lumati Recharge Portal and our in-room longevity protocols empower guests to experience rapid, tangible rejuvenation in minimal time – perfect for those who demand both peak performance and deep serenity during their stay.”
