Fusion to expand its ‘all-spa-inclusive’ service with Fusion Resort Quang Binh
By Jane Kitchen 09 Apr 2019
The Fusion Resort Quang Binh Dong Hoi Spa Reception, which will feature a new spa concept: Water & Earth
The wellness-inspired resort and hotel chain Fusion will open a resort near Bao Ninh Beach, Dong Hoi, Vietnam, in the second quarter of 2020.

Located at the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, with Son Doong - the world’s largest cave, the three-hectare Fusion Resort Quang Binh will offer Fusion’s all-spa inclusive service plus a range of wellbeing-oriented concepts and services.

“Quang Binh is an up-and-coming destination,” said Peter Meyer, Fusion’s CEO. “Exploring Son Doong Cave and the many other natural gems in the area will make this province the newest travellers' bucket-list destination alongside the likes of Ha Long Bay, Sapa, and Hoi An.”

Blending natural and contemporary design elements with a focus on earth tones, textures, and materials, the property’s 60 villas each offer private gardens and plunge pools.

Fusion’s holistic approach to well-being begins with the “all-spa inclusive” service. As with all Fusion Resorts, Fusion Resort Quang Binh will offer daily spa journeys to guests at no extra cost.

The resort will also launch a new spa concept: Water & Earth. Supported by 10 double treatment rooms, the spa menu will include massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, plus body scrubs, wraps, and a signature mud treatment, all featuring 100 per cent natural products.

Complimentary wellness activities such as yoga and meditation will also be offered, plus hot steam and cold plunge experiences.

“We always say that vacations are a great time to rest and relax,” said Meyer, “but they’re also an ideal opportunity to get fit, healthy, and active, all the while making some positive lifestyle changes to hopefully last long beyond a guest’s time with us.”

Launched in 2008, Fusion is a fully vertically integrated hospitality company, and has opened six resorts and hotels in Vietnam so far, with a team of more than 1,800 employees, including 300 spa specialists.

Besides Quang Binh, three more Fusion properties are currently under development for 2019 and 2020 openings, including Darwin - a Fusion Original in Ho Chi Minh City, Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang, and Fusion Suites Vung Tau.

“Our growth continues to be fueled by a rising demand for quality wellness-branded accommodations,” said Meyer. “Vietnam’s tourist sector is currently among the fastest developing in the world. Quang Binh alone welcomed over 3.9 million visitors in 2018 and is expecting a total of 4.3 million by the end of 2019, a number that is only expected to increase in the coming years. We hope that Fusion Resort Quang Binh will bring a high level of service to the area’s rapidly developing tourism sector, attracting domestic and foreign tourists alike.”
