Austrian spa and wellness architects Schletterer International have designed and built a new spa for the Mövenpick Resort & Residence Al Bida’a in the Salmiya quarter of Kuwait.
The spa will be located within the hotel on the ground floor and will open at the Middle Eastern resort in August.
Called The Spa, it will have 12 treatment rooms and cover a total of 4,844sq ft (450sq m) with facilities including a whirlpool and a health club.
Managed by Mövenpick, the spa will be owned by Alargan.
The design of the resort – which has five swimming pools – was inspired by the Mediterranean and it has a total surface area of 430,556sq ft (40,000sq m).
