The luxury One Spa at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Scotland has won the destination/hotel spa of the year award at the British Beauty Awards in London for the second year running.
The award, which was sponsored by E'Spa, was presented to the general manager of the Edinburgh-based facility, Brian Hunter, at a special ceremony.
The award was judged on all aspects of the spa – from facilities and treatments to products on offer and staffing – by a selection of independent figures from both the spa and beauty industries.
One Spa opened at the Sheraton in 2001 and was selected from a shortlist of seven, which included three other Scottish sites: Stobo Castle Health Spa, The Spa at Turnberry and The Gleneagles Spa.
Hunter said: "We are extremely honoured to receive this accolade and once again it proves our position as the UK's leading spa."
The Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa was also voted best UK hotel spa outside London at the Conde Naste Traveller Awards in September 2004. Details: www.one-spa.com
