Work has finished on the final addition to spa services at the Quellenhotel and Spa in Bad Waltersdorf within the Styrian region of southern Austria.
The new 1.2m euro (£0.94m, US$1.87m) Styrian Spa Treatment Centre will be located between the hotel and the Heiltherme Day Spa Thermal Pools, connected by a covered walkway.
Officially opening in August, the centre will focus on holistic therapies and medical treatments in a non-clinical environment.
Treatments will use the patented Traditional Styrian Medicine (TSM) system which incorporates local produce such as apples, pumpkin oil and peat with holistic therapies for the face and body.
There will also be traditional Chinese medicine available as well as contemporary Western treatments.
In April, a 5m euro (US$7.37m, £3.71m) large wellness centre opened at the Quellenhotel and Spa. Covering 32,291sq ft (3,000sq m), the centre has a natural swimming lake, with an infinity-edge thermal mineral pool and a ladies-only area. It joined the existing 269,097sq ft (25,000sq m) day spa.
