Schletterer Wellness & Spa Design is to team up with the independent Dubai-based holding company Seven Tides to establish two new spas on the Palm Jumeirah, the artificial island being created by Nakheel in Dubai, UAE.
The first spa will be thalassotherapy-based and be located at the Oceana Resort & Spa on the trunk of the Palm.
Covering 31,215sq ft (2,900sq m), there will be a wide variety of thalasso pools intersecting with an underwater ‘world’ featuring images projected onto transparent walls.
The second spa will draw inspiration from Balinese-Asian influences and cover 30,138sq ft (2,800sq m). It will be at The Royal Amwaj Resort & Spa on the crescent of the Palm.
The spa village at The Royal Amwaj will feature single treatment bungalows, a healthcare area and holistic cocooning therapies including light, sound projection and aromatherapy.
Seven Tides was established in Dubai in July 2004, with a commitment to integrate property and hospitality through property developments. Details: schletterer.com
