The Trisara resort and spa in Phuket, Thailand, has begun a new partnership with a group of Asia-based therapists who specialise a range of holistic mind-body wellbeing solutions.
The team includes triathlete Stephen Kirwin, who has worked with Lance Armstrong’s cycling team and offers a blend of deep tissue massage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy.
Reiki master Roger Moore offers a variety of unique massages and Watsu therapy and his past clients have included Madonna and U2’s Adam Clayton.
Former Buddhist monk Anamai Apaiso specialises in mind training while reiki master Nikorn Banjerdlert, also a former Buddhist monk, offers meditation, energy healing, massage and deep listening.
Fijian Dorinda Berry uses a variety of holistic modalities to create a ‘journey for the soul’ while the final member of the group is Pat Thummanond, a US-certified physiotherapist specialising in cranio-sacral therapy.
Yoga and pilates classes and individual instruction is also available at the resort.
The team of holistic consultants are based on Phuket, available to Trisara’s guests via appointment-only. Details: trisara.com
