A destination spa has opened on the roof of the Château du Lac hotel in Genval, Belgium.
The property is owned by Belgian hotel group Martin’s Hotels, founded by John Martin, and is situated in the heart of Brabant Wallon, nicknamed the ‘garden of Brussels’.
Called Martin’Spa, the new 16,145sq ft (1,500sq m) facility was designed by Martin’s wife, Huguette Martin, and marks the launch of the Terraké brand and treatment range in the country.
Overhanging the Genval Lake, the spa includes a fitness centre, swimming pool, solarium terrace, thermal baths, two double treatment rooms and 10 individual rooms. There is also a marble-heated ayurvedic massage table.
Martin’Spa’s Terraké rituals are divided into four ‘universes’ – namely Terra Magica, Primordial Waters, Of Air and Light and Luxuriant Plant Life. Details: martinshotels.com
