A new luxury spa is set to open within a listed mill in the west Yorkshire Dales next month.
The Titanic Spa – based on the ground floor of the newly renovated Titanic Mill in Linthwaite, Huddersfield – is due to open on 28 November.
The 110sq m (2,000sq ft) spa features 20 treatment rooms and The Heat and Chill Zone, which includes a saunarium, a crystal steam bath, an aromatherapy room, a sauna, an ice room, a plunge pool, experience showers and foot baths.
Other facilities include a hydrotherapy bath, a mud chamber, a relaxation room, a hair and beauty salon and a healthy-eating, 60-cover bistro.
The spa will offer the full range of Pevonia Botanica treatments, including stone spa therapy.
There will also be a range of three-hour long spa signature packages, such as The Titanic Cleanse, A Taste of Titanic, Titanic Duo and Titanic Twilight Heat Experience.
Spa director Warrick Burton, previously of Whittlebury Hall in Northampton, said: “We are offering people quality ‘me’ time; luxurious pampering in a serene environment. Whether they come for a couple of hours or a whole day our team can cater for every need.”
A separate privately-owned fitness facility – Club Titanic – is due to open in January.
It will feature a heated no-chlorine pool with underwater music and a gym with the Technogym Wellness system. The club is expected to have between 450 and 500 members.
A second phase of the mill conversion will then commence, which will involve the creation of 16 luxury hotel suites, bar areas and a main restaurant on the first floor above the spa. Details: www.titanicspa.com
