Sauna and steam company Dalesauna is supplying equipment for a new leisure centre in Swansea.
Located in the heart of the city, the venue was originally opened by the Queen in 1977 and attracted 750,000 people a year. It was closed in November 2003 for refurbishment and will re-open as The LC in 2008 after a £32m makeover.
Dalesauna will be supplying The LC with a spa pool, steam room, sauna, aromatherapy room, monsoon showers and heated loungers.
Gerard McCarthy, Sales Director at Dalesauna said: "This is such a thrilling project and we are delighted to be involved with it.
"We worked together with architects Powell Dobson to achieve a well balanced mix of products which incorporate dry heat, fragrance and water.
"This will undoubtedly be a very impressive facility and the high levels of service will make for an exceptional experience for the whole community."
In addition to its spa offer, the LC will feature a state-of-the-art water park consisting of a network of pools, water rides and slides as well as an indoor surfing ride; a 160 station gymnasium; a health spa; a play zone and an eight court sports and exhibition hall, which will double as a music venue.
