New from Darphin Paris is Darphin Aromatic Cleansing Balm with Rosewood.
A rich cleansing balm, it transforms into a light-milky emulsion with water to sweep away traces of make-up and impurities, whilst nourishing skin to relieve tightness and help restore natural radiance.
Suitable for all skin types, Darphin Aromatic Cleansing Balm has a four stage cleansing action on the skin.
It entraps impurities with its balm texture,
acting as a 'magnet' to trap impurities and make-up to remove them from skin efficiently; and cleanses with a blend of fatty acids and sugar derived esters to provide the optimal balance of gentle and effective cleansing.
Further, it purifies the skin using sage essential oil, which also helps to rebalance excessive oil production; and it nourishes the skin using the essential oils of rosewood, marula and ylang ylang.
A technique of application developed by Darphin recommends taking a small amount of the balm and warming it with the hands.
It should then be inhaled deeply three times and applied it to the face, followed by a face massage with circular movements, then the cheeks and sides of the nostrils.
Pressure should be applied with the fingertips on the base of the eyebrows, followed by smoothing movements from the middle of the face towards the ears, on the forehead, on the chin, on the cheekbones and on the neck.
Finish by emulsifying and rinsing with lukewarm water.
