Halotherapy Solutions, a US-based provider of salt therapy equipment, has introduced a new CBD-infused halotherapy formula called HaloCBD.
The product blends 100 per cent organic, USDA-certified, THC-free CBD with pharmaceutical-grade salt to form a crystallised compound.
According to Halotherapy Solutions, the new formula represents the next generation of halotherapy, which it has dubbed ACT halotherapy (aerobic cannabinoid therapy).
Over the past six to eight months, the company has conducted beta testing at 12 partner locations, and says results have exceeded expectations.
Both new and regular CBD users reported enhanced benefits, while business owners saw an average 30 per cent revenue increase from ACT halotherapy sessions.
For instance, a traditional 30-minute salt therapy session typically costs around US$30. With the introduction of HaloCBD, that price has increased to an average of US$39, while the cost of the HaloCBD compound itself remains about US$1 per session.
This additional US$9 per session delivers a substantial return on investment for operators, explained Steve Spiro, CEO of Halotherapy Solutions, speaking to
Spa Business.
He added: “It’s been incredible to hear from our customers about how their guests are experiencing even greater respiratory benefits, along with reduced anxiety, joint pain relief and improved sleep.”
The company, which co-developed the product, holds the exclusive license to sell the patented HaloCBD compound, ensuring that only users of Halotherapy Solutions equipment can offer this unique upgrade.
HaloCBD has been specifically engineered to work only with the brand’s halogenerators, including models including HaloRed, Vitality Booth, HaloSauna, HaloIR, HaloFX and GX PRO.
