Jeff Riach, CEO of medical tables and positioning devices company, Oakworks® has announced the launch of their new Procedure Chair line.
Riach said that the new line - filling the gap between the company's technically complex medical devices and its line of spa tables - has been designed specifically to meet the needs of the medical community and went on to explain the rationale behind it.
"We have developed a reputation over the years for creating products that reflect the high-end aesthetics of the world’s top spas.
"With our focus on comfort for clients and great ergonomics for caregivers that has been always central in our designs, we were finding many medical professionals choosing our products.
"We've therefore spent the last couple of years working with them to refine our healthcare product line to reflect the functional requirements of high quality medical supplies and equipment and create medical procedure chairs with a spa look and feel."
The 100 Series Procedure Chair is the first in a range created to reflect the needs of the modern office, offering a blend of patient comfort, ergonomics and high-end aesthetics.
Designed for supine or prone, its features include an electrically powered 19in-35in height range; multi-function foot control, a full 74in long x 27in wide examination table: a fully adjustable head rest; and luxurious upholstery in a choice of 21 different colours.
The 100 will be followed this summer by the 300 Series Procedure Chair, featuring even more advanced features.
