Slow Ageing Essentials announces UK expansion plans

Founders of the UK spa and skincare brand Slow Ageing Essentials have revealed a goal to expand its domestic presence to include more than 1,000 spa and salon partners.

Currently partnered with 22 UK locations, the brand officially launched in February 2020 and was founded by former Decléor owner and industry veteran David Lieber and his wife Margot Lieber, who founded Spa Illuminata in London’s upmarket Mayfair area.

With a focus on slow ageing – not anti-ageing – the brand wants to redefine skincare to promote ageless beauty and tackle environmental issues caused by overproduction in the beauty industry.

Slow Ageing Essentials consists of a collection of eight products powered by active steam-distilled essential oils and five branded spa treatments designed for the face and body. The range and experiences are designed for people of any age, skin type and ethnicity.

“The heart of Slow Ageing Essential’s philosophy is to not overcomplicate beauty routines,” said David.

“With my background at Decléor and experience in owning salons, spas and health clubs, my vision for the brand is focused on eliminating the industry’s most pressing issues.

“We’re looking at servicing more than 1,000 spas and salons in the UK and increasing our relationships with suppliers by offering the best service from a company that understands the way these businesses work.”

Lieber added that the Slow Ageing Essentials range will be expanded in January 2024 with a new yet-to-be-revealed product.
