Taking the Inner strength concept to new heights

Aromatherapy Associates is adding to its Inner Strength range – while the company is also putting the concept into action to raise money in the fight against cancer.

The Inner Strength Candle combines restorative oils such as frankincense and cardamom to focus and relax the mind while fortifying physical strength, and lasts about 40 hours. An Inner Strength Body Oil will also add to the range, with both new products launching in September.

The company donates 10 per cent of all Inner Strength proceeds directly to the Defence Against Cancer Foundation. The charity is working on the development of a new cancer vaccination to help specific forms of the disease spreading. Known as immunotherapy, treatment is based on the concept that the immune system is vital in suppressing cancer cells and could be used to help fight the disease.

Aromatherapy Associates founder Geraldine Howard created Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil while she was undergoing the treatment, and is now intent on giving back to the charity.

The entire Aromatherapy Associates team will take part in a charity walk to raise money for Defence Against Cancer on 5 September. Starting at the company’s head office in Brentford, the walkers will make the seven mile trek to the Aromatherapy Associates Boutique & Treatment Rooms in Knightsbridge.
