G.M. Collin has released a cream and a serum using an advanced vegan growth factor complex to improve skin health and quality, especially for dry, tired or mature skin.
The GF Repair Serum and GF Repair Cream both include a growth factor matrix with plant extracts such as those from musk mallow, snow crocus bulb and an epidermal growth factor called Plant-EGF.
The brand’s Exometics G ingredient, includes exosomes derived from green microalgae and is described by the company as a blend of growth factors, collagen, proteins and lipids that “each target relevant functions for the skin.”
Myriam Sayer, vice president at G.M. Collin told Spa Business. "Exosomes and growth factors target the root causes of skin ageing. Combining both innovations allows us to develop the most performing solutions to enhance skin longevity."
The GF Repair Cream also includes the brand’s blend of ceramides, Skinmimics, to help hydrate and reinforce the skin’s moisture barrier. The company’s Juivinity, an antioxidant designed to shield against external stressors, is also in the GF Repair Cream.
The GF Repair Serum’s additional ingredients include a protein called Plant-IGF1, which is said to improve skin resilience. Another ingredient is Tetrapeptide-26, which is thought to boost skin revitalisation at night.
G.M. Collin conducted a four-week study on 29 volunteers with all skin types, compared with a product by a leading competitor. G.M. Collin’s products were applied twice daily.
There were appearance improvements of up to 91 per cent in wrinkle lengths and up to 86 per cent for surface wrinkles, which the brand says is twice as effective compared to the competitor’s product.
A 30ml unit of the serum costs US$220 (€202, £172) and the 50ml unit of cream costs US$220 (€202, £172).
